A short shoutcast tutorial : How to easily setup a shoutcast server with windows !

To broadcast your music in winamp, find and install the latest winamp on http://www.winamp.com

download these files : http://zorg2001.free.fr/temp/_shoutcast_.zip (dated 05 / 2005 : check docs inside for any latest version online now!)

install the 2 files. if asked, winamp is in c:\program files\winamp usually.

start SHOUTcast DNAS (GUI)

ctrl P in winamp
--> dsp plugins
--> shoutcast

in shoutcast source : "output"
adress 127.0.0.1
port 8000
password

in shoutcast server : edit config : find Password= , and the same password

your radio is http://your ip:8000 (CTRL L in winamp) !

to get your IP : start menu / execute : cmd
ipconfig [enter]
